Does Awapuni School Take Zero Waste Seriously?

Does Awapuni take zero waste seriously? I strongly believe that Awapuni school does take zero waste seriously.

Firstly Awapuni school has a green team that encourages people to
reduce, reuse and recycle because of the
green shield challenge. In support of this the green team also takes
care of the environment by planting trees, plants and taking
care of the garden.

Secondly Awapuni school has spent a whole term focusing on zero
waste. Then we recycled and reused things to make them into wearable art.

Lastly Awapuni school made and sent flag the bag letters to the
Gisborne council. The wearable art Awapuni school made could be displayed at the town library to help raise awareness.

In short Awapuni school is serious about zero waste. People must do more
reducing, reusing and recycling now.
